| The Norwalk area has several local expansions either currently underway or preparing to start in the near future.
Since the beginning of 2010, five buildings have been purchased or are in long-term lease agreements (3 Industrial and 2 Commercial).

Genesis Baking Company (a division of New Horizons Baking Company) is installing a new baking line and over 23,000 sq. ft. and will be adding 25 new jobs. Work has begun and the project is slated to finish near the end of 2010/beginning of 2011. New Horizons Baking Company had two additional expansion projects in the last 12 months (stories below).
